Bonnie Fuller offers her unsolicited advice

It's probably safe to presume that it is also oft-thought advice.

As number five on her listicle of things Barack Obama should do if he wants to win this presidential election:

"Finally! Dump Biden and Bring Back Hillary! New York Times columnist David Brooks, wrote very insightfully a couple of weeks ago that in this election, Weirdness Wins."

This is ridiculous. I half-agree, in that he should have picked Hil if he knew what was best for him, but IMO she ought to be Prez, not Veep. The incredulity of this comment for me is the thought that the presidential contenders in this race should be vying for our votes through "weirdness" tactics. I think that just completely underestimates the intelligence of the American people. We want people in Washington that have REAL credentials and qualification, not outward beauty, quirky characteristics or a contrived maverick image.

This is why I'm particularly irked at McCain's veep pick. It is an obvious affront on half the American population's intelligence.

So, sure, Biden may as well change his name to Blahden, but that doesn't mean Sen. Obama should shake things up by picking my girl Hillary. She doesn't need anyone's pity.
